Welcome to the UK’s ONLY Boomerang Factory!
From beginners to avid collectors we have the ‘rang to suit you.

Iโve been making and throwing boomerangs most of my life.
If youve never tried it before, then you really should!
Learning to throw a boomerang is great fun, very absorbing, and just a good, all-round wholesome thing to do outdoors!
I make my boomerangs in my small factory in West Cornwall, and I’m proud to be one of the only commercial makers of Strip-Laminated boomerangs in the World. My Laminating process shows off the beauty of the grains and colours of a mixture of Hardwoods, and by using several species in the same Boomerang, I end up with a beautiful Wooden Rainbow from exotic and domestic trees.
In general, the lighter coloured woods in my Boomerangs are from locally sourced Cornish Hardwood trees, such as Ash, Elm, Chestnut, Alder and Yew. The darker woods are from exotic Hardwoods such as Mahogany, Utile and Sapele, and often this is recycled from old or broken furniture etc.
Have a look at my video, “How to make a SkySurfer” which is over on the videos page.

The SkySurfer is a large Boomerang with a 24″ wingspan, and has a flight range of about 35 metres. It works best on a calm day. When thrown right, it has a beautiful, gently arcing flightpath, which ends in a slowly descending hover, which is perfect for attempting catches- however, its not the best option if you’re a beginner, and it would be a shame to crash and wreck such a beautiful ‘rang whilst learning to throw! I would recommend learning with our smaller ‘Learnerang” which is designed to be easy to learn to throw and catch.

I grew up in the 1980s, skateboarding and later on surfing, and developed a keen interest in anything with wheels or petrol-related! Theres a rich and subcultural graphic element behind all of these lifestyles, and I have always been strongly influenced by the fantastic artwork of old Horror Comics, American 1960s Hot Rods, The Skateboard art of the 80s by legendary artists like Jim Phillips, and of course the beautiful shapes of classic surfboard design.
Boomerangs, for me, are an essential part of a day at the beach, and I have tried to give my ‘rangs a graphic style that pays tribute to the surf/skate and Hot Rod culture that has been such a big part of my life.
Get your Board Shorts and favorite T-shirt, pack a Boomerang, your board and a couple of beers, and lets hit the beach!
